Its definitely a good idea to buy a ps4 controller. Its a great controller for the price. If you dont want to wait, but still want to buy it, theres no way to tell if the controller will work with your computer. I have yet to make my own controller, but I will be getting one soon. Also, there is a way to tell if the controller will work in the game. If you know for a fact that it wont, then you shouldnt buy it.
