How do you make an epic bad news story? How do you make a story with a bad ending? The developers have obviously thought through this, and given a good reason for the very bad ending. And they’ve made the ending good because it’s a big part of the game’s story.
The bad news story was so good that it actually gave us a good laugh. The developers obviously know that its a huge part of the game’s story, so they have to make this happen quickly. There is no suspense to this particular bad news story, but for a game that tries to be so epic, that’s not a huge issue.
This is because these bad news endings have so much in common that they can easily be confused for one another. The worst-case scenario is that the bad thing has happened, and the game has been saved, but it doesnt do anything to solve the problem. So the game keeps asking me to kill myself, only to continue playing because the game doesnt have any more endings to the story. I can’t help myself, I think this is hilarious.
