Dashon Goldson (born March 4, 1978, in New Orleans, Louisiana) is the lead singer of the hip-hop group, Dashboard Confessional, known for their acclaimed albums, the Dashboard Confessional, and the soundtrack to the 1999 film, The Goonies. The group has sold over 5 million records worldwide and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
In 2007 Goldson received a Grammy award for Best Rap Solo Performance for his song “F-Me Fap,” which is about a young man who has sex with a bunch of women and then decides to become a rap groupie.
