earthquake in the news

I’m sorry, but I still can’t believe the latest news that was reported about the earthquake in Chile. My first reaction is that, if that were true, we would be living in an earthquake-free country.

That just goes to show that earthquakes can happen at any time and that we don’t know the exact cause of this one. So while it’s good that we are not living in an earthquake-free country, it’s also true that we will all be living in an earthquake-free country someday. We just won’t know until then.

If the news article is correct, then the big quake was caused by an earthquake that happened in the Andes Mountains a few days ago. This is a big deal because Chile is a seismically active country. The last time they had a big quake in their country was in 1960 and they are not exactly known for their earthquakes.

Chile’s last big quake was in 1960 and they are not exactly known for their earthquakes. The last time they had a big quake in their country was in 1960 and they are not exactly known for their earthquakes. But I digress.

The earthquake was triggered by a quake measuring 4.0 on the Richter Scale that happened in the Andes Mountains. The whole country felt the quake. We saw this quake happen from the air as well. NASA saw it in real-time and posted a video of the earthquake from space.

The earthquake that most people don’t even know about occurs in the mountains of Peru, which is a bit more mountainous than the Andes Mountains. If you look at the topography of the Andes mountains it gives you the impression that they have a huge crater. It’s not a big crater, it’s just a small crater. The craters are quite large, but the scale is very small and not very deep.

It turns out the earthquake that hit Peru was all of the same magnitude, which is no surprise because of the amount of seismic activity that occurs in the Andes. The quake occurred on May 27, 2010, at 4:45 pm Pacific Standard Time. The epicenter was more than 13 miles from the epicenter of the other massive earthquake in the area that occurred five years earlier at 6:46 pm Pacific Standard Time.

Peru lies in a part of the world that is prone to earthquakes. In fact, almost all the earthquakes that occur in the world are centered in Peru. The latest major quake in Peru was on May 19, 2016, which was measured at 6.7 on the Richter scale. This earthquake is believed to be the second largest earthquake ever in the world. It took place in the Andean area. The other quake was in the central Andes.

There’s something about earthquakes that still sets people’s teeth on edge. After all, the very fact that they happen to be the same place at the same time is enough to give anyone the creeps. I don’t know why, but it’s because the first time I felt one, I was terrified. The second time, the shaking was so strong that I thought I’d have been ripped apart by the force of it.

It took just 13.5 seconds for the earthquake to happen. That is to say, a mere half a second longer than it takes for you to drive a nail into your head, or to run over your foot.
