The new NASCAR driver has a simple mission: to save his father’s life. It’s pretty awesome that we could find and save Earnhardt Jr. and his father all while trying to avoid the big race taking place. I love that we weren’t forced to save everyone at the same time. The first race of the season is often the slowest and most boring, and is the best chance to see the cars before qualifying. That’s really cool to see the cars up close and personal.
It is also a good opportunity to practice for the next race. As Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his father were in the lead, they were almost literally running out of gas. It wasnt until the start of race 2 that they had enough fuel to get to the starting line.
