The problem is that it seems like a really good idea, but the fact that the movie gets to the top of the streaming charts without actually doing anything to warrant the streaming partnerships adds up to a bit of a fail.

I’m not advocating that movie-buying is a bad thing, but I think it’s a bit of a disservice to those who truly want to watch all of their movies. It’s even worse to watch movies that you don’t have to go out and buy. Movies that are available in the multiplex are in fact better than movies that are just available on the internet.

The problem is when we pay to see movies in theaters, we are forced to wait an average of three and a half minutes to see something. In order to see something, we have to go to a movie theater, so we are forced to wait long enough for the movie to start, and we are further forced to sit through a very long movie that we aren’t even sure we want to see.

The problem with waiting for movies to start in the theater is that is one big “I didn’t want to see that.” moment. We then have a chance to get up and leave when the movie does start, and if we don’t like it then we get the option to go to the theater and watch it on the internet.

The problem with this is that if you don’t like it, then you have no choice but to go watch it on the internet. What Netflix is doing with its datamine program is essentially giving you the option to go to a movie theater and watch something you haven’t even seen yet. And the reason we’re not happy is that the movie we haven’t seen yet is “The Last Samurai” by Quentin Tarantino. We couldnt have been more wrong.

Netflix is giving us the option to watch something we havent even seen yet all in our new online “Watch Now” section on the Netflix app. If you want to see a movie before it’s released, you can head to the movie theater and watch it online. This is exactly what we would want, but it is a step too far for some.
