I purchased this power cord for my dad when he had his birthday. It is a nice, thick cord that is easy to work with. It was the perfect match for the power cord of my Playstation 3.

Apparently, when you go for a run or go for a swim in the ocean, water and sand can sometimes get stuck in your power cord and cause it to get stuck in the power outlet you plug into, so I always have a spare.

The cord, which comes in black or white, is made of 2-inch metal wire and is rated for 120V alternating current. It’s a bit large so it’s not ideal for use with a laptop computer that’s connected to a 110V outlet, but it is a bit small so it’s not ideal for use with a laptop computer that has a 110V power outlet. For laptop computers and portable devices, I would recommend using the power cable that comes in white.

I don’t like to say much about the PS3 because I prefer to keep things simple. But as much as I love the PS3, I would like to see the PS3 take care of its own power needs. I don’t have a problem with plugging a power supply into an outlet.
