I was never the most interested in video games or the TV, but I did start playing one game (Nintendo Wii) a few years ago and now I am addicted. It’s a little rough, kind of like playing with a brick, but that’s all part of the fun. Playing games is my way of getting away from the real world and just living in my head.

I think that might be why I bought the PS3 for my son. I had it long enough to have a few friends and it was nice to do that without having to worry about having to explain why I am doing a trick or pulling something out of a hat.

It’s also too big to sit comfortably on a night stand, and I’m not sure I can hold it all day. If I did I would probably move it to my bedroom and just play there. In our case, it’s a good thing that we don’t have that luxury because the gaming consoles are pretty heavy and can only be carried at night.

The PlayStation 3 and 4 seem to be the easiest of the lot to carry around and to use in the bedroom, but Sony is still working on a cable that will work with the DualShock 4 controllers.
