They are not as long as the standard PS3 Slim power cable, so we do not know that they are for the PS3 slim.

If it is for the ps3 slim, then it is a great upgrade over the standard PS3 Slim power cable. It is about 15 inches in length, so it should fit well into the small ps3 slim case.
