If you are a gamer, you may already have noticed that your PS4 is the only console that comes with a headset for gamers. Of course you will be asking yourself questions like “why is there a PS4 head-up display?” and “is it important that I get a headset?” and “what happens when I plug it into the PS4?” to name a few.

First of all, this headset is not required. There are dozens of gaming headsets on the market, and you can buy many of them with a headset for your PS4. You can also get a USB adapter for your PS4 and plug it into your headset, which is pretty neat if you’re not a gamer. Of course, many gamers are gamers and don’t want such a thing.

You’re right though, there are tons of gaming headsets out there that can be plugged into your PS4 without a head-up display. For instance, you can buy a wireless headset, like the V-Bottego, that only requires you to plug the head-up display into your computer so you can get a full gaming experience. It also comes with a USB cable that you can use to plug the headset into the PS4.

The only headset I own that is wireless and that I use, is the ps4 platinum headset. I find it very comfortable and easy to wear.

But the V-Bottego is quite old and not that great at what it does. I’ve had a couple of head-up displays that worked great for me, and I really don’t want a new headset to replace all of my current ones. I also don’t need or want the full gaming experience either. I’m still very much a casual gamer, and the only games I play regularly are the ones that are designed to be played like that.

In fact, even when you don’t need a headset, a good pair of headphones can make a world of difference. Sure, I’d rather have an eardrum than a microphone, but a good pair of cans can be the difference between a “good” and “great” headset.

I’m not sure if the PS4’s “Pt” headphones are the best option, but I got what I wanted in a pair of headphones from the “PlayStation Plus” bundle.

The only downside is that there are only three pairs of headphones in the bundle, so you’ll have to buy in pairs to get a good pair of them. I can live with that, though. It’s really not that big of a deal.

The Bluetooth headset is $20 more than the headphones, but that’s not a big deal. The difference is between a pair of headphones that provide enough volume to drown out the background noise and a pair of cans that are designed to be used as speakers.
