josh barnett has a great idea for a service that he wants to market. This idea is really quite simple. He wants his customers to take advantage of an incredibly simple service that they already have. So he puts out a post on his website. He says, “Hey, you guys can go to my website to get your free coffee. Just go to my URL and enter your name and password.
The more people that take advantage of his service, the more money that he makes. And if his site is getting so many hits, then he gets to take that money and run. Not a bad place to start a business if you are already making money.
Yes, the more people who use his service the more money he makes. It’s not that simple though, he’s not going to give everyone his free coffee if he doesn’t make money. If he doesn’t make money, he doesn’t get paid. So he can’t just give everyone his free coffee. So he’s going to have to find a way to earn money (i.e. sell more stuff) to pay his bills.
No, he doesnt have to make money. He doesnt have to make money anyway. His business is to keep the money for himself. He makes the most money that he can. After all, he has a free time. He has no idea how long he can keep making money.
The question is, do you think he wants to? Because the reason he wants the money is because its the most fun he can have. He wants to buy more things and sell more things to get the money that he needs to buy stuff and make more money. But if he doesnt, then he doesnt get paid because he doesnt make any money anyway. He makes money because he has a free time. Its a fun time that he can use to get more stuff and make more money.
the question is, is he aware of what is going on. Does he have a clue that he is, in effect, buying a time loop? If he is, then the first thing he would think to do is to try to get out of it. He would want to leave the party, get away from the Visionaries, and find some way to make some money.
