In this series of screenshots from my playstation vita, I’ve been building up my understanding of the console’s architecture and the games that utilize it.
This game uses the VGA display, which is a 16:10 aspect ratio and 640×480 pixels on my vita. It is so small you need a pretty powerful computer to play the game at full scale.
The VGA (or Virtual Video Analogue) display is an odd combination of two technologies that are in and one out. On one side, you have what we call “interlaced” (or “full”) resolution (16:9, 640×480) video. This is what most people are used to seeing in DVDs, but the game developers don’t care. They want to cram as much pixels as possible into their game’s screen.
On the other side, there is a VGA or Virtual Video Analogue display, which is a strange combination of technologies that are in and one out. This is what we call “interlaced or half resolution” or “pixels or pixmap”. The developers of the game dont care that much about size. They just want to cram as much pixels as possible into their games screen.
The pixel count is a very subjective thing. For some people, it may be too much, and it may not be enough, and it depends on the circumstances. Personally, I love to play games with a lot of pixels and I play games at a high resolution. I want to play games with a lot of pixels.
One of the main things that makes me hate the Vita in general is the limited screen space. As an example, I can fit more information in the Vita’s screen than on my iPhone. I’m not sure if this is a good thing, though. I think a bigger screen would be a good thing for the Vita, but it’s hard to say whether the games would be a better experience with a bigger screen.
I’m not sure if this is a good thing, but I am a big fan of the larger screen of the Vita. I would like to see a bigger screen for the Vita. A bigger screen would be a good thing for the Vita. I don’t think the games should be a better experience with a bigger screen.
There is no question that the larger screen would be a benefit for the Vita. However, I don’t see the games benefitting from a larger screen. It’s hard to see how large the screen is on the Vita in comparison to the iPhone or the iPod touch. The Vita is a handheld, so I don’t think it’s much smaller than a Smartphone, or an iPad. It’s also hard to imagine that the games are going to be any better.
I agree that the game’s look and feel should be different than that of the iPhone or iPod Touch. However, I think it would be more beneficial for the games to look and feel similar to the iPhone or iPod Touch.
